IV Chan, born 1978, has received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, a Post Graduate Diploma in Visual Art from Goldsmiths University of London and an MFA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Chan was selected to be an artist in residence at Tai Kwun in late 2021 which resulted in a performance of her work Inside/Outside (What my mother did not tell me) at the JC Cube, Tai Kwun. She was also part of the studio visit programme at ParaSite during the pandemic and has exhibited at Oi Street Art Space, Karin Weber Gallery, Sothebys Hong Kong, Osage Gallery, Hong Kong and in exhibitions in China mainland and Taiwan.
